Park Restaurant, which had closed its doors in late June of this year, is planning on reopening its doors as Swig 1921 in the fall. Meghan Riney of the Advocate reports that Swig 1921 will be a modern, urban pub with a casual atmosphere. 

The Park Restaurant location was purchased by the owners of Capitol Pub and the menu for Swig 1921 will reflect that. According to Riney, “the menu is similar to that of Capitol Pub but further evolved.”

Bar Celine was also bought by Capitol Pub at the same time that was Park Restaurant was but has remained open. The only change to the bar is the name, which is now called The Gin Mill.
