Rachel Stone of the Advocate posted a blog about how there is a proposition for a bowling alley to built in lower Greenville. The bowling alley would be next to Good Records at Greenville and Lewis where the old Regal Beagle once was.

The proposal was found on the City Plan Commission for today and has a few hurdles to overcome before the idea is feasible. Stone points out that Lower Greenville doesn't realy need another late-night location serving alcohol. The location also has a rooftop patio, which will surely draw the ire of neighbors late at night when intoxicated partiers are having a little much fun.

But, a bowling alley in the area would be nice. As Stone says, the nearest public bowling alley is on Composite near Stemmons Freeway.
