One of the best cajun restaurants in the city of Dallas, Alligator Cafe, will be opening a second location in Casa Linda, which is located on the eastern edge of Lakewood. The restaurant will open next to the Albertson's and Bank of America.

The Alligator Cafe won D Magazine's "Best Of" award for cajun cooking in 2010 and won the same award from the Dallas Observer in 2008. On their website, owner and chef Ivan Pugh name his one simple objective: "My goal is to provide the best Cajun and Creole food, made from scratch, to the most important people in the world - Our Customers."
