The third annual Taste of Greenville Avenue, which is on October 29, will not be held at its former location outside the Granada Theater but instead at Energy Square, which is at the intersection of Greenville and University. The reason for this is because organizers believe the event's original location won't be able to hold all the people expected to come.

Taste of Greenville Avenue is expected to have booths from more than 40 Greenville restaurants, 15 retail stores and other organizations and services. All the representatives at the event will be from or near Greenville Avenue.

According to Taste of Greenville Avenue's website, "the goal of TOGA 2011 is to introduce - or re-introduce - our restaurants to our neighbors and customers in the Greenville Avenue/East Dallas/North Dallas community."

Vendors will be serving small portion meals at reduced prices for those that attend the event.
