Lakewood Elementary, Stonewall Jackson Elementary, J.L. Long Middle School and Woodrow Wilson High School have teamed up together with several local businesses to create a giant community fundraiser. The fundraiser will support both the schools and the businesses at the same time while giving residents some great deals and offers.

The five participating businesses - Society Bakery, True Beauty Rx, Studio B, Times Ten Cellars and No More 'To Go' - will offer major discounts on their most popular items. Each business will then give a certain percentage of their sales back to the schools. The schools will use the extra funds to make sure teachers have all the necessary supplies and equipment to provide the best education for Lakewood students.

Society Bakery is offering 67-percent off a dozen of their gourmet cupcakes. These cupcakes have won numerous awards and have even gained national recognition. The Ellen DeGeneres Show named the cupcakes from Society Bakery as one of the Top 10 cupcakes in America.

True Beauty Rx is offering 65-percent off of their Beauty Services. This is the perfect gift to give to loved ones that have long, stressful days at work and just need to be pampered. Allure magazine named True Beauty Rx as the best facial service in Dallas in their October issue.

And any parent with a young girl that dreams of becoming a dancer will appreciate the offer that Studio B is offering. The dance facility is offering 40-percent off a week-long summer dance camp. Studio B has classes that fit dancers of any age and/or experience level. They teach various style of dance, such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and musical arts.

Times Ten Cellars is a great place for adults to hold parties, get together and meetings. It's a low-key atmosphere with great staff and great drink. For this community fundraiser, they're offering 28-percent off a private party for up to 50 people. The offer includes a private bar and bar staff, personalized sign for the party, tables and chairs for the event and a clean up crew.
