Lakehill Preparatory School's Upper School Drama students are bringing George Batson's Design for Murder to the Lakehill stage on April 10 and 11.

Design for Murder is the story of a widow Celia Granger who is desperate to keep her stately home and is hopeful her son David will marry the daughter of a textile magnate. At first, Celia is more preoccupied with her own desire to preserve her husband's legacy that she is with her son's happiness.

The play is reminiscent of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. Audiences will need to analyze the characters and carefully watch for clues as the suspenseful drama unfolds.

Design for Murder will be performed on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11 in Lakehill's Charles Wyly Auditorium. Showtime is 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. Concessions will be available.

Those who love suspense will not want to miss this drawing room whodunit.
