Santa and Mrs. Claus join PFC President Tricia McCaleb and Headmaster Roger Perry.

Christmas came early at Lakehill Preparatory School this year, with the arrival of a new bus on December 11. The bus was purchased largely with funds raised from the Parent Faculty Club's spring Benefit Auction. PFC President Tricia McCaleb joined Mr. Perry and Santa and Mrs. Claus for the celebrated arrival.

"We are extremely grateful to our Auction Chairs, Christy Van Duinen and Kelli Powell, for chairing last year's event and to the PFC for their tireless efforts on behalf of the school. This gift is something that will benefit every child at Lakehill for many years to come," said Headmaster Roger Perry.

The new bus, which features the Lakehill colors and logo, holds 32 students and is wheelchair accessible. The bus will be used to transport students to the ESC, to athletic events, on field trips, and to other school activities. Lakehill's transportation needs have continued to grow since the last bus was donated in 2009 by the PFC.

Lakehill is grateful to parents and community members who supported the auction and helped make this much-needed gift possible.
