Lakehill Varsity Football Players Receive State Honors

Three Lakehill Preparatory School Varsity Football players were recently named to the TAPPS All-State team:
 
Second Team All-State
Gerard FranklinQuarterback
Avery Meiteen, Defensive Back
 
Honorable Mention All-State
Avery Meiteen, Receiver
Ben Palmer, Defensive Line
Ben Palmer, Running Back
 
Additionally, three players were recognized with Academic All-State honors. To qualify, players must be a junior or senior, have earned First or Second Team All-District, and have maintained a 3.5 GPA. Congratulations to junior Ben Palmer, and seniors Jonathan Kelley and Warren Lester who received the award.
 
Congratulations to these student-athletes and to the entire team for an exciting run in the state playoffs.
