The Lakehill Cross Country team traveled to Hurst for the Birdville Flyin' Hawks Invitational last Saturday. The harsh weather conditions and hilly, grass course could not stall the team's momentum. Freshman Warren Lester placed fifth overall and received an individual medal in the boys'4A and under junior varsity 5K. Official race results can be found here.

The team will head to Waco Connally Middle School in Elm Mott for the TAPPS Cross Country State Championships nextSaturday, October 25. The race will include over 1100 runners in the ten classifications competing for both individual and team honors. The boys' race will begin at approximately 12:30 pm.
