The sixth grade class has taken on Lakehill Preparatory School's Meals on Wheels route for the 2014-15 school year. Groups of two or three students deliver meals on the first, third, and fifth Wednesday of each month. The group delivered their first meals on September 17 and will continue the project through March. Already the experience is making an impact. "It made me feel so good to help people," said sixth grader Johnny Hirata. "Everyone was so nice. I would love to deliver meals again," said Andrew Ward. Jason Davis agreed, "It really was an inspiring experience. I am so glad our class got involved."
