The Lady Warriors Varsity Basketball team continued their unbeaten district record after victories over Tyler Street Christian Academy on January 29 and East Texas Christian Academy on February 2. Friday night's game was the closest district match-up the Lady Warriors have had, winning 43-35 over Tyler Street. The Warriors were led in scoring by Jakayla Silas with 20 points and Charity Abengowe with 11 points.
The Lady Warriors followed up on Tuesday with a significant 64-33 win over the Lady Panthers. Silas and Abengowe again led the team with 33 and 13 points, respectively. Ashley Peacock nailed four three-pointers and had several rebounds. McKinney Waggoner has averaged double digits in rebounds in every district game this season.
The Lady Warriors have two district games remaining on the road to an undefeated district season.
