Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake Offers New ER Service Powered by InQuickER

When you’re sick or injured, waiting for hours at the ER is the last thing you want. Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake has a solution with InQuickER. The service allows patients to reserve a place at the ER online while waiting in the comfort of their own homes.

To hold an online ER position, patients are required to pay a fee, complete an online form, and arrive at the projected treatment time. If you haven’t been seen by a health professional within 15 minutes, InQuickER will refund your online fee in full.

“We know people want more convenience and communication in the ER experience,” explains Dale D Serie, RN, Emergency Department Director at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake. “With this service, users enjoy the convenience of choosing where they wait and a projected time to see a healthcare professional in the emergency room."

According to Kr. Keith Lepak, associate medical director of emergency medicine at Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake, the Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake utilizes InQuickER to create a more efficient service for patient satisfaction.

InQuickER does not affect the wait times of other emergency room patients, nor does it allow certain individuals to “cut” in front of others. Additionally, if the projected treatment time changes due to an influx of patients requiring priority treatment, the user will be notified and given an alternate time, or a refund.

The new service is only intended for individuals who have non-life threatening medical conditions. Patients requiring immediate medical treatment should go immediately to the nearest emergency department or call 911.

For more information about holding your place online, please go to www.DoctorsHospitalDallas.com/InQuickER

At Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake, the fee to use these services is $9.99.
