Common Desk, a Dallas-based coworking company and workday amenities provider, has announced a new downtown Dallas location, Common Desk – Trammell Crow Center. The 52,000 square foot coworking space will comprise two floors including highly serviced luxury enterprise suites for companies with 15-75 employees, and a private whiskey lounge and club exclusively for its members and Trammell Crow Center tenants. Scheduled to open in the first quarter of next year, Trammell Crow Center will be the fifth Common Desk location.

“We think the Common Desk offering will significantly broaden the appeal of Trammell Crow Center,” said J.P. Morgan Asset Management Executive Director Dale Todd. “There is a clear trend of increasing demand for coworking spaces by a wide range of traditional class A office users, including law firms and Fortune 500 companies.”

The enterprise suites will include high end finishes including private offices, wet bars, and shared areas. They’ll be serviced by Common Desk’s new mobile app allowing members to quickly request services such as food / beverage delivered directly to their suite. “For the past 12 months we’ve been working on new elevated experiences within our spaces. We want our customers to get a level of service that is on par with luxury high-end boutique hotels,” said Nick Clark Founder and CEO of Common Desk.

The Trammell Crow Center location is an operating agreement between the owner, institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and Common Desk. The deal will deliver flexible workspace to the 1.2 million-square-foot asset, allowing the building to attract companies demanding flexibility as part of their workspace strategy. Common Desk will work with the Stream Realty Partners leasing and management team to offer companies new workspace inventory that compliments the building’s traditional office space. The two teams will work together to attract users to the new Common Desk enterprise suites.

“Companies are re-evaluating everything about the way they consume office space,” said Ramsey March Managing Director and Partner of Stream Realty Partners. “We believe that the Common Desk model will thrill CEOs, corporate real estate directors and HR departments at the same time.”

The exclusive whiskey lounge will be a private social club for Common Desk members and Trammell Crow Center tenants. A special in-building social membership gets Trammell Crow tenants access to Common Desk in the afternoons along with the high-end whiskey lounge. This will include a menu of craft cocktails served daily from 4pm - 6pm and can be rented out for executive events.

“We’re excited to expand our brand into what we believe to be the best Downtown Dallas trophy class A office building,” said Clark. “With our recent acquisition of The Gym of Social Mechanics, along with Fiction Coffee, Common Desk is bringing more value to landlords and tenants with a wide range of amenity options. The expectations of companies are changing, and Common Desk is meeting those needs with our expansion of new service offerings.”

The brand turns six in October and currently operates four coworking locations throughout North Texas, covering 70,000 square feet of space with more openings slated for 2018/early 2019. For more information on Common Desk, visit thecommondesk.com.
