The Bryan Adams High School Football players made a pit stop at their feeder pattern elementary schools yesterday morning. The BA football players spent their morning greeting future Cougars and their parents in the carpool lane. These young men proudly donned their kelly green and white jerseys as they helped students get on their way to school. Students and parents were thrilled to have the football team helping out. “The two [football players] that I encountered at Sanger [Elementary] were very polite. They opened the door for my kid. It was really nice seeing them there,” said one Sanger Elementary parent. “I think it's great for our kids to experience that, and also have a connection to their feeder pattern high school! Thank you BA Cougars!"
While assisting in the carpool lanes, the BA football players also handed out invitations to the 3rd Annual Feeder Pattern Night at Forester Field. All students in the Bryan Adams Feeder Pattern are invited to attend and encouraged to wear a spirit shirt from their respective school, which entitles them to free admission for this Friday’s game. Admission for parents will be $4. Students wearing a feeder pattern spirit shirt will be invited to cheer on the field with the Varsity cheerleaders and BA Belles. The middle school football players and cheerleaders will help form the spirit line. “I told the football player that greeted us that my daughter is a mini cheerleader that night. He proudly announced to his teammates that she will be cheering them on! It made our day!" exclaimed an elementary school parent.
If you would like to be a part of the pre-game festivities, stop by next Friday, September 16th by 7pm at Forester Field (8233 Military Pkwy Dallas, TX 75227). Students participating in the pre-game festivities will be allowed to run through the tunnel leading the team on the field. There will also be drawings from the BA Athletic Booster Club with giveaways to Feeder Parents in attendance.
