Theatre students from the Bryan Adams High School Leadership Academy competed against 6 other DISD schools and 2 Carrolton/Farmers Branch schools in the U.I.L. One Act Play competition. Students have 7 minutes to get the set up, 40 minutes to perform their show and 7 minutes to strike (tear down) the set. This is a highly competitive event and the B.A. theatre students handled themselves with professionalism, tenacity and positive attitudes. Senior Marlene Sosa was awarded an all star technical medal. Senior Victoria Velasco and Sophomore Salma Villegas both were awarded honorable mention all star cast medals! We are very proud of all students involved, and hope you can come support them at our public performances this Friday and Saturday evening. The Insanity of Mary Girard will be presented in the BAHS auditorium Friday, April 1st & Saturday, April 2nd. Both shows will begin at 7PM. Tickets are $5.
