The Lady Friars wrapped up their regular season last night with a 5-0 win over Parish Episcopal on Senior Night.

Bishop Lynch will host Houston's Awty International next Tuesday to open the TAPPS Division I playoffs. The match will kickoff at 2 p.m. in Roffino Stadium.

Senior Katelyn Curtis notched two goals against Parish, junior Christina Stack added a goal, sophomore Aly Simpkins put a shot in net and freshman Alexis Sanders rounded out the scoring with a goal.

Curtis also had a pair of assists, setting up goals by Simpkins and Stack.

The Lady Friars earned the second seed from their district.

The JV team will head to Nolan on Thursday to compete in the District tournament. The JV Lady Friars (No. 2 seed) will face John Paul II (No. 3 seed) at 11 a.m. with the winner facing either Ursuline (top seed) or Nolan Catholic (No. 4 seed) in the championship at 3 p.m.
