The Bishop Lynch Lady Friars scored 12 goals this week, topping both Prestonwood Christian and Hockaday without allowing a score against.

The Lady Friars (4-1) finished off the week last night with a 3-1 win at Hockaday, as freshman goalkeeper Alicia Isaac earned her first victory as a Friar.

Atu Mshana scored the first goal of the night off an assist by Katelyn Curtis, before Christina Stack put a ball in the net for a 2-0 lead at intermission.

Curtis notched her second assist when she set up Alexis Sanders for the third goal and a 3-0 lead. Hockaday got on the board late in the contest but it wouldn't be enough.

In the junior varsity contest, Andrea Marentes and Shannon Chester each had a goal and assist for a 3-0 win over Hockaday to stay unbeaten.

Marentes scored on a pass from Chester to open the scoring, then set up Haley Howe for the second goal. Chester scored the last goal in the second half, off an assist from Kaylee Schmoll.

On Tuesday, the varsity scored six times in the second half to crush Prestonwood, 9-0.

Mshana and Sanders each netted hat tricks, with Mshana adding an assist.

Sanders scored the first goal, followed by Mshana's first off a Jordyn Beard assist. Mshana set up Danielle Velasquez for a 3-0 lead at the half.

Sanders and Mshana scored goals just 42 seconds apart for a 5-0 lead and Sanders hit her hat trick at the 29-minute mark to make it 6-0. Mia Belz assisted on Mshana's third goal for a 7-0 advantage.

Belz scored to make it 8-0 and just 38 seconds later, Anisa Lopez closed out the scoring with a goal.
