BL computer teacher David Maasz was recently honored with a 2015 Inspiration Award by the University of Texas at Dallas. This award recognizes teachers and counselors who have inspired undergraduate computer science majors at UTD. As technology encompasses all aspects of our daily lives, the demand for computing professionals continues to increase. The university wanted to thank educators for inspiring students to enter the fields of Computer Science and Software Engineering. David was nominated by a Bishop Lynch alum E. J. Betancourt.
