The Lady Friars finished the first half of a busy stretch with a pair of district wins, all but guaranteeing them the No. 2 seed from the district.

The Bishop Lynch squad will need just one win in its final two matches to lock down the second seed. The Lady Friars (12-2 district) host winless Bishop Dunne (0-14) and Parish Episcopal (6-8) to not only close out the regular season, but end a stretch of four matches in eight days.

On Monday, Atu Mshana registered a hat trick during the Lady Friars' 5-0 win over Prestonwood Christian Academy.

Alexis Sanders and Mica MacKay also had goals while Mshana and Katelyn Curtis assisted on goals for BL.

The next night, Kaky Kuby scored off an assist from Anna Schrader to give the Lady Friars a 1-0 lead over Liberty Christian at intermission, but a questionable goal by the visiting team tied the match in the second half.

The Lady Friars never lost composure, getting a pair of goals from Mshana in the half to nail down a 3-1 win over the Lady Warriors. Curtis tallied an assist in the victory.
