Freshmen power Lady Friars past Dunne

A pair of freshmen led the way for the Lady Friars during Monday's 8-3 district win over Bishop Dunne at Ferguson Park.

Abby Thrash picked up the win in the pitching circle, holding the Falcons to just six hits while also adding a triple at the plate during a 3-for-4 performance.

Noelle Pastor went 4-for-4 with a pair of triples, helping Bishop Lynch (3-6 overall, 2-0 district) rack up 12 hits in the contest.

The Lady Friars will play at home again tonight, hosting Liberty Christian at 4:30 p.m.
