The Lady Friar golf team qualified for the state tournament with a third-place finish Wednesday at the regional tournament in Fort Worth.
Junior Lauren Campagna shot a two-day low for the team, finishing seventh in the individual standings.
Sophomore Madi Gorman shot seven strokes lower than her opening round to finish 10th. Fellow sophomore Lilly Guerra also had a significant drop in her score from the first day, shooting nine strokes fewer in her second round.
Juniors Lillie Frazier and Sophie Bartlett were also part of the team, contributing to the total that will send the group to Glen Rose.
The state tournament will be played at the Squaw Valley Golf Course on April 25-26.
