BL secures numerous Top 10 finishes at Cedar Hill

The Bishop Lynch girls powerlifting team placed fourth out of 13 teams Friday in a very competitive meet at Cedar Hill consisting of UIL 6A and 5A teams.

Top 10 places were secured by the following lifters:

• Hannah Eboagu - 1st

• Kennedy Martin - 2nd

• Malen Hernandez - 3rd

• Jasmine Ruvalcaba - 3rd

• Mie Somiari - 4th

• Norma Ceron - 6th

• Frannie Farlow - 6th

For the second straight meet, Hannah Eboagu was named the Outstanding Lifter on the light platform (weight classes 114-165).

On Saturday, the boys team placed seventh out of 13 teams at Cedar Hill. Top 10 places were secured by the following lifters:

• Michael Parsons - 3rd

• Jermaine Mask - 4th

• Anthony Urieta - 6th

• William Parsons - 7th

• Presley Luce - 7th

• Alex Hernandez - 9th

• Cole Garcia - 10th
