Friars sweep Chargers for second time

Bishop Lynch completed a season and program sweep of Dallas Christian on Tuesday, ending with the varsity's 12-2 home win over the Chargers.

The Friars (3-1) ran up 12 runs on 10 hits, with triples off the bats of Ian Landry and Jack Baker. Gabe Vasquez earned the win on the mound as BL allowed just two runs off four hits.

Baker drove in two runs while Landry, Gabe Settles, Mark DelValdene, Josh Aguilar and Blake Bautz each knocked in one.

The junior varsity earned a 16-5 win over Dallas Christian on the strength of a three-hit game from Collin Crenwelge. He also drove in four runs. Michael Baca knocked two hits for BL.
