The Bishop Lynch Lady Friars finished eighth overall and the Friars placed 12th in the team standings Saturday at the TAPPS State Track & Field Championships in Waco.

Competitors in field events led the way for BL, winning three bronze medals with third-place finishes in triple, long and high jump. The women’s 800-meter relay team also finished third, giving BL medals in four different events.

Here’s the complete list of BL competitors and results from last weekend’s meet:

• Kameron Brooks — 6th — 800 meters

• Paul Hellinghausen — 6th — 110m hurdles

• Nahum Ferretiz, Gabe Brace, Aaron Lara and Tristan Smith — 7th — 400m relay

• Brace, Smith, Lara and Ferretiz — 6th — 800m relay

• Brooks, Ferretiz, Lara and Brace — 7th — 1600m relay

• Gage Tipton — 4th — High jump

• Amarachie Anozie — 3rd — Triple jump

• Amarachie Anozie — 7th — High jump

• Mie Somiari — 3rd — Long jump

• Bri Kipp — 3rd — High jump

• Claire Williams, Katy Steele, Jessica Taylor and Juli Garza — 6th — 1600m relay

• Williams, Steele, Taylor and Garza — 3rd — 800m relay

• Steele — 6th — 800 meters
