Bishop Lynch swept the varsity, junior varsity and freshman teams from Nolan Catholic on Tuesday night and the sophomore Lady Friars swept Shepton to complete a dominate night of volleyball for BLHS.

The Lady Friars (23-8 overall, 5-0 district) swept Nolan's varsity by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-5. They have yet to drop a set in district play and have won six straight matches dating back to Aug. 29.

Danielle Nevitt was key in Tuesday's win, notching 22 digs and a pair of service aces while Tennessee commit Callie Williams shined with 14 digs, 13 assists and two aces.

Melanie Heigele had 13 assists and seven digs in the win, while the offensive attack was paced by Madi Tyus (eight kills) and Catherine Balido (six kills).

The Lady Friars will look to stay perfect in district play Thursday when they travel to Prestonwood Christian for a 6 p.m. contest.
