Bishop Lynch cross country teams each earned Top 5 finishes during Saturday's Lions Den Invitational at Ennis' Jaycee Park.

The men finished second in the team standings with 68 points, behind only Ferris (55). The women earned a fourth-place finish with 110 points, placing behind Fairfield (21), Eustace (54) and Ferris (91).

Ryan Sheaffer was fourth in the men's race with a time of 18:47 to lead the men's team. Jared Cogswell (19:12) and Joseph McDonald (19:14) finished 10th and 11th, respectively.

Other BL runners include Lucas Herrmann (16th), Patrick Kersey (30th), Eric Bellinghausen (31st) andAndres Cano (35th).

Ava Peeples and Kaitlyn Steele earned Top 10 finishes to lead the women's squad. Peeples finished in 12:42 to finish third, while Steele was 10th with a time of 13:20.

Other BL runners include Kelli Koch (19th), Caroline Savage (50th), Sophia Duarte (54th) and Anna Schrader (63rd).
