 ay July 2 to 4 \n July Admission is $5 \n  \n Visitors and locals are invi
 ted to celebrate the fourth of July weekend at the Dallas Arboretum with $
 5 admission for those two years old and up. From July 2 to 4\, the garden
  also offers free entrance to the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden
  with paid garden admission\, thanks to free Kelley Family Days and the fa
 mily underwriting the cost. In addition to local artists’ murals\, activit
 ies include a  family fun weekend with hot dogs\, sweet treats\, concerts
  on the lawn and plenty of fun for everyone.  \n Summer at the Arboretum
    continues through August 14 with music\, food\, custom mural art and fa
 mily fun in the 66-acre Dallas Garden. A highlight\, carried over from Dal
 las Blooms\, includes a massive pair of 13-foot-tall floral peacocks featu
 ring ornately planted tails measuring more than 36 feet across.  Summertim
 e can be hot\, but there are shaded spaces for everyone to cool off and en
 joy the wonders of nature. \n Family Fun Weekends provide fun for the whol
 e family: Country Critters Petting Zoo and face painting and family keepsa
 ke photos. Gil’s Elegant Catering offers $4 brownie sundaes\, $2 hot dogs

 omeless experience in Dallas through photography\; and The Village\, a pho
 to series preserving the people\, culture and history of an underserved an
