SUMMARY:Bonton Farms Cooking Demo at Galleria Dallas
DESCRIPTION:Each month\, Galleria Dallas partners with a local or national
  charity to shine a spotlight on their work with a Gallery Wall\, located
  on Level 1 of the center across from Sephora. October’s charity partner i
 s Bonton Farms \, a Dallas-based nonprofit that leverages urban agricultur
 e to nourish the physical\, mental and financial health within the Bonton
  neighborhood of 4\,600 individuals each year. While the centerpiece of th
 e partnership will be the educational Gallery Wall\, titled “Planting Seed
 s of Change\,” the partnership goes much deeper\, with a full month of edu
 cational and outreach activations throughout the shopping center. \n  \nTh
 e Bonton Farms exhibit will share the inspirational stories of people impa
 cted by its programs as it tells the stories of the people of Bonton. Addi
 tionally\, the exhibit will educate shoppers about the seven human essenti
 als that are necessary to survive and thrive – health and wellness\, econo
 mic stability\, safe and affordable housing\, transportation\, a sense of
  belonging\, education and access to fair credit – essentials that the res
 idents of Bonton have often been denied. \n  \nAdditionally\, a whimsical
  farm scene invites visitors to put themselves in context at the Farm thro
 ugh an engaging art installation. \n  \nThroughout the month\, the Bonton
  Farms team will create interactive opportunities for Galleria Dallas shop
 pers. \nThe culinary team at Bonton Farms will host a series of cooking de
 monstrations\, including: \nTuesday\, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m.         Bonton Fa
 rms Sous Chef Marquis will teach a recipe from the Café \nTuesday\, Oct. 1
 8 at 11 a.m.         Pesto demo\, where guests can learn how to take a pla
 nt from the garden to make a delicious pasta sauce \n  \nDemonstrations wi
 ll occur on Level 1 in front of the Bonton Farms display.\nGalleria Dallas
