In September, Woodrow Wilson High School held its annual “Mini-School” open house. Parents followed the bell schedule of their students, progressing from classroom to classroom and teacher to teacher as their students do each day.

Before the first bell, three dozen clubs and organizations had information and sign up tables open on the second floor, then a general PTA meeting was held in the auditorium.

Parents were eager to tour the new $14 million Science and Arts addition and to see some of the new equipment such as interactive white boards, 3-D printers and information technology equipment the school received in the recently completed renovation. In the STEM college prep academy, several new engineering classes have been added with many gee-whiz components on display.
