White Rock Lake is considered by many to be the crown jewel of Dallas. To help keep it that way, For the Love of the Lake (FTLOTL) needs willing volunteers to help out at the Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce Up every month. This month, the clean-up will be held on Saturday, July 14.

Volunteers will start by meeting at the FTLOTL office in Casa Linda Plaza at 8:00 a.m.. To help wake everyone up, FTLOTL provides drinks (coffee from Starbucks, orange juice and chocolate milk) and food from Another Broken Egg Cafe. To keep everyone hydrated, all participants are given Rain Fresh bottled water.

For the Love of the Lake will also provide all the supplies to aid in the clean up. Volunteers will get trash bags, recycling bags - courtesy of the City of Dallas Recycling Department - reach-it tools and gloves.
