Children in the Lakewood neighborhood will benefit with gardening camps and low cost/high nutrition cooking classes from the proceeds of this benefit brunch and silent auction.
The Promise of Peace (POP), Community Garden Farm to Table Brunch and Silenct Auction will be held on March 4th at Sundown at Granada from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. It will feature local chefs Rolo Cantu, Marc Cassel, Billy Cooper, Suzanne Fries, and Sundown at Granada's Patrick Stark.
The chefs have designed a stunning five-course menu that will deliver local goodness to your pallet as you experience the remarkable ambiance at the new Sundown at Granada: beer garden and restaurant, which was recently opened by Mark Schoder.
Tickets are $60 and include a five-course menu, a specialty cocktail and gratuity. There are only 50 tickets available, so purchase your ticket now at the Granada Theater website.
The silent auction will open at 10:30 a.m. Guestss will sip and shop as they are presented with auction items from local artists and entrepreneurs who reflect the efforts of POP as they connect the rich resources in the community.
