Cru Capaill Academy is an Irish Step Dance Studio that recently opened in Lakewood. As an opening promotion, they are offering a free lesson for children interested in trying out Irish Dance.
Lessons are held Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at United Dance Academy. Children - boys and girls - above the age of four are welcome to come out and give Irish Dancing a try!
Crú Capaill is led by Katie Crowley, one of only nine certified Irish dance teachers in all of Texas. Crowley has been Irish step dancing since she was four and has 22 years of dance experience under her belt. She has competed at the regional, national and world championship level and has performed at many big-time venues, including the White House lawn, halftime at a Chicago Bears game and Disney World.
